Pirouette.

Marc Wood Studio
Inaugarated as an experimental concept to investigate and refine techniques in rolling and bending tubular metal, Pirouette embodies a fusion of craftsmanship and specific manufacturing process interest.
The piece draws its inspiration from the imperfect, off-circular geometries found in everyday objects such as carabiners and broken wheels—forms that suggest both movement and tension.
By translating these subtle irregularities into a sculptural expression, Pirouette explores the beauty that emerges from distortion, balance, and continuous motion. The result is an elegant study in material behaviour, celebrating the dynamic relationship between precision engineering and organic imperfection.
